The Brucejack Mine is an underground gold mine located in Northwest British Columbia, owned and operated by Pretivm Resources Inc.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an IT Director to join our team in Vancouver, BC.
Please note that while this role is based at our Vancouver head office, this role will also require travel to the Smithers office, the Stewart warehouse, or Brucejack project sites as needed (approximately 10-15%).
Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee the team that provides IT and ERP support services.
More specifically, you will also oversee and manage an IT group that supports a large number of diverse systems including standard IT systems, mining specific OT systems, IP telephony, CCTV systems, CATV systems, access control systems, radio communications, microwave communications and other technologies.
You will also provide management over support for the Company’s integrated ERP system (JD Edwards) and any additional system interfaces while considering the business implications of the current environment.

In order to qualify for this role, you will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, IT, Engineering, Finance, or a related field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Technical IT certifications such as MCSE and CCNP are a definite asset.
Above all, you will be a well rounded IT leader with proven people management skills and demonstrated success with the operation and management of a technology information service management environment, involving complex network architecture, data center production facilities and remote client support resources. You will also have strong communication skills, be highly organized, and have the ability to manage multiple shifting priorities.
